VB tutorials, by TPK.
Hello welcome to your first Vb tutorial let's start first by saying well, what is VB and what does it stand for?
VB stands for visual basic and visual basic is a basic language used to create computer programs such as games, media players an so on. In order for you to really even learn visual basic you must get a copy of it first. I can't tell you how to get it, I recommend you search you tube for visual basic 6 portable edition you should find plenty.
Once you get Visual Basic(6) open it should look something like this
One you have a new form open I want you to make a button and a text box, and also a label these can be found to the left of the form.
Now it's time to input the code, click on the button twice and in between the two lines of code, before exit sub and after the first line write Label1 = Text1.Text
Now to explain what you're doing basically what you're saying or asking the computer to do is to take what ever you type in the text box and display that as the label when you put something in the text box and click the button it should change the label to what ever is in the text box.
Next tutorial will be about If and Then statements and Message boxes thanks.
